Teaching Data Science Skills with a Focus on Visualization

The goal of this research project was to combine an intensive foray into data visualization with a curriculum for improving overall data acumen into a short series of activities for introduction to data science at many levels of instruction. The final product of the project was a curriculum composed of five modules to introduce students to data science. Next steps include implementation and growth of the curriculum.
