Tropical Cyclone Climatology for Columbia and Greenville SC

Data was culled from the NHC database to extract a set of tropical cyclones over the past 165 years that have passed within 75 nautical miles of Columbia and Greenville SC. Using this data, the variability of these tropical cyclones were examined such as seasonality, angle of approach, intensity, and translational velocity, and displayed that variability with publication quality figures. Descriptive parameters were created and developed hypotheses for the trends observed in the data. Lastly it was compared with the data already obtained for Charleston SC.
